Will this follow exactly the original track, despite the settings of the Zumo XT itself (fastest route, highways, etc)? Thank you for sharing. I did all this, except I used the automatic route saved in Zumo when importing from the Garmin Drive. Didn’t do the track to trip on the GPS.

I had the pleasure of riding these roads in 2007! Our trip took us from Dunkirk up through the Dolomites, to Trieste then down the coast road to Dubrovnik! Stayed in Dubrovnik to visit the Old Town and rest up before the ferry to Bari! Then up through West Coast of Italy to Lake Como, back up into the mountains and back! Best thing I have ever done on a Motorcycle and I have raced Supermoto, Drag Racing and a little Motocross! My son now has a bike licence and next year I plan to do this trip again with him!

I testrode both the R and GT, the later hurt my lower back after about an hour, on the R however, I can ride forever. Ended up buying an R. Also sold my 2021 R1 for the room and funds, which I loved. But too close to go to prison each time I rode it. Also, your ass hurts after half an hour. Very happy with the swap!

Good to see you having some fun riding the Tracer 900GT+ , it is a good looking machine with some impressive tech( most of which I probably wouldn't use) however I do wish Yamaha would be more adventurous with the colours , gunmetal grey is just boring in the extreme.

Great video guys. Best green lanes I've ever seen. Im from Australia, where we ride firetrails, dirt roads and tracks between them, so the idea of green lanes seems limiting, but that was awesome. I guess its like anything, you've just got to know where the good stuff is.

I can't see how they go from £27,300 for the Road Glide, to £39000 (+43%) for the CVO Road Glide. The underlying engineering looks much the same. Nice bikes though.

Love my 900 gt. With an exhaust it's frugal on fuel - I average 60mpg. Can get 70 sitting on motorway. funnily the stock GT is more insurance than the GT+

I hired a Tracer 900 for a few days in the Algarve a number of years back - it was quick, dangerously so!

I've watched about a dozen reviews on this bike. Yours has concentrated on riding it and so I found it the best. All the others concentrated on the tech above actually what an experience it is to ride. Nice to know I can take a slow bend in top and zoom out of it! Thanks.

How does the hi tech braking system know the road conditions ? Would it apply or override what you were doing on ice or slippery surface ?

For such an accomplished machine, the designers painted it with the ugly stick!

I've got the T9GT. Great engine, the sound is very addictive, good handling, very poor windscreen. Very poor finish, thin paint on the wheels in particular. After one winter (regular washing and ACF50) parts of the frame were going rusty, the shock was a mess and anodised parts showed corrosion. I probably won't buy another Yamaha but even if I was going to I would buy the GT over the GT+, way overpriced.

Not sure why you would ever trust a petrol gauge on any motorcycle after that time you ran out of petrol in France ! I’ve never had a petrol gauge on a motorcycle and I’ve never run of gas. I have though run out of petrol in a car ! 🇬🇧
